Each year since 2003, the Sedona Visual Artists Coalition has organized this annual celebration of the Verde Valley arts. Run by artists through the non-profit SVAC, this unique event allows you to meet and talk with over 40 artists in their studios. On the last three days of April from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., you have the opportunity to discover your newest, favorite piece of art!
Imagine being able to tour the sculpture studio of Michelangelo or step into the art studio of Monet! While you can’t do that without a time machine, you have a very unique opportunity April 28-30 to step into the working studios of over 40 local artists. Interact with these artists to find out what inspires them. Learn about the techniques they utilize to create their art, whether that art is bronze sculpture, acrylic painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, digital art, fabric art, 3-D art, Native art, glass, fiber clay, wearable art, oil painting, water colors, silk painting, pottery, fine art, pastels, stone ware, mixed media, or carving wood vessels.
You can help nurture the next generation of artists: the artists are donating artwork. Raffle tickets to win the art and gift certificates are available for sale in each studio. Proceeds will be donated to SAC’S Scholarship Fund to help students with artistic aspirations to achieve their dreams.
The best news is that this event is free!
