Once we know your headcount and date, our wedding team builds a line-item proposal so you can see exactly where every dollar goes.

What's the deposit and payment schedule to reserve a wedding date?

A signed agreement and an initial non-refundable deposit hold your date on the Sky Ranch Lodge calendar. The remaining balance is typically split across two milestone payments — one at the midway planning mark and a final payment in the weeks leading up to your wedding. Exact percentages and due dates are spelled out in your proposal so there are no surprises.

Can we customize a package or build something completely bespoke?

Yes — every package on this page is a starting point, not a fixed menu. Swap courses, upgrade the bar, layer in additional florals or lighting, extend the reception, or combine elements from two packages. What's typically not included in a wedding package?

Accepted Answer

Standard packages don't include photography and videography, live entertainment or DJ services, hair and makeup, your wedding attire, officiant fees, marriage license, transportation for guests, or applicable taxes and service charges. We're happy to recommend trusted Sedona vendors for each, and many couples bundle these add-ons through our preferred partner network.

What happens if our final guest count goes up or down?

Your proposal is built around an estimated headcount, and we re-confirm the final count roughly 14 days before the wedding for catering, seating, and staffing. Modest increases can usually be accommodated up to each package's maximum, and decreases are honored down to the package minimum — your wedding coordinator will walk you through how each change affects the final invoice.

Our Micro Wedding package is designed for elopements and intimate ceremonies of up to 10 guests, with a private red-rock ceremony site, florals for the couple, officiant coordination, and a champagne toast. It's an ideal fit for destination elopements, vow renewals, and second-day ceremonies in Sedona.

What food and beverage options are included?

Packages include cocktail hour bites, plated or buffet reception dinners, and tiered bar packages ranging from beer-and-wine through premium top-shelf service. Menus are seasonal and crafted by our culinary team — tastings are offered for larger packages, and we accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher-style, and allergy-specific menus with advance notice.

Quoted package prices are typically pre-tax and pre-service-charge. Arizona sales tax, a standard event service charge, and any gratuities are itemized separately on your proposal so you can see the all-in investment up front. Our wedding team will review each line with you before you sign.

What's your cancellation and date-change policy?

Accepted Answer

Deposits are non-refundable, but we work hard to help couples reschedule when life shifts. Date changes are generally accommodated subject to availability, with payments transferred to the new date.
